The DACport HD sounds very spacious and separated. It has plenty of power. Only time I need High Gain is with my 600 ohm beyerdynamic DT 880.
The Cerene dB have more bass that I prefer, because it sounds like live music, but they translate my tracks perfectly. It's detailed and tight.
The mids are very revealing and make vocals sound pleasant and engaging. They're cohesive with the lows and highs.
The highs are bright and sparkly, but smooth. In my opinion, these headphones sound very open. The imaging is very precise, so the music doesn't appear related to the position of the ear cups.
