With no way of knowing what causes this, my drop shift will simply stop responding. This is a used drop shift, but it has been hardly used though. Once or twice, it appears that a key which has last been held may simply start to repeat itself as the keyboard stops to send more input, possibly including that the key is no longer being held down? other times, it simply fails to respond any further. Pressing anything on the keyboard, despite that RGB is still going, does absolutely nothing. I opened switch hitter (small program) and it doesn't register anything going on at all. Wondering if anyone thinks they may know the problem. I bought this used from facebook but apparently this is far more problematic than thought. The ONLY thing I need to do is disconnect and reconnect the keyboard, but y'know this is kind of a problem. Otherwise, I cannot tell that the keyboard has been even touched just once. But I mean something is a bit off. Is the keyboard itself a bit off?
I ordered 2 sets of Drop Holy Pandas - Why are the housings different colors?
Hey guys. I recently bought two sets of 110 Drop Holy Pandas. When I opened the boxes, I noticed that the housings are different shades of white. One of them is more of a cream/off white color, and the other is pure white. Why is this? Do they perform differently from each other, or are they from a separate batch? Should I be concerned?
My recently acquired preonic V3 has bricked itself. I flashed custom firmware onto it, and when it started going haywire I flashed it back to default. However all of a sudden, my pc isn't registering that its even plugged in. It's not making sound when I plug it in, the LEDs aren't turning on, and hitting the reset button, my PC isn't even detecting the bootloader, it's not the cable, I have tested, I do not know what is going on, please help.
Hi there ! Here is Okey65, a keyboard I designed and assembled at home, based on an Atmega32u4-au chip, a pcb, fr4 plates and a 3D printed resin frame. As you can see it's a 65 keys ortholinear keyboard, a kind of Preonic with an extra column and a symmetrical layout, the sources are available on my Github: https://github.com/kiks64/OKey65 Being just a hobbyist, the pcb design is simple, no rgb or hot swap sockets, but it's fully dampened with foam, has a USB type C port and works great :) It is currently fitted with dsa keys from Signature Plastics which are unfortunately very expensive, but there is a perfectly compatible set of keys which should soon be available on Drop, the wonderful Mito Canvas set (Alphas + Text Ortho or Betas + Micons Ortho). If you are interested in my keyboard don't miss the drop!
It might just be me but I think that the Keyboard Club Coupons should be stackable. The only real times when I buy from DROP is when there are promotions and typically, those are way better than the actual coupons. For example, the Preonic has a sale with free mt3 ortho keycaps which would be something that I would get, but I won't be able to use the coupons since they aren't stackable. I just feel like there really isn't a point in being in the Keyboard Club for just these coupons.
