A couple of weeks ago, I decided that I wanted a 4K monitor I could run at full resolution. I used a 27-inch 1440p display for a long time, but when I split it into 4 windows, those windows were just a little bit too small (1280x720). So a couple of weeks ago (after thinking about it for months), I bought a Samsung 43-inch 4K TV (KU7000), along with a desk mount and 60hz HDMI -> USB-C cable (which all-in cost me about half what the Dell 43-inch monitor would have). I'm able to run 4K@60hz with 4:4:4 chroma, although occasionally I notice a bit of pixelation when I turn my head at the right frequency (might have to do with the subpixel arrangement). After about a week, I'm reasonably happy with it, although it still feels a little bit excessive. The keyboard is an ALPS64 AEKII build with a KBDFans 60% wood case. The mouse is a Logitech Anywhere MX.

this is my current set up yes i know there is an empty pack of candy on my desk yes i know my keyboard is dirty (cuz i ve been using it for 6 years ) :D

bonus : im trying to be a scientist im stil a student so i dont have a large budget but i want to make myself a new set up give me sum ideas !! :D

This is my working space at home. I'm lucky I already had a nice home office set up before the start of the pandemic. So I've been working here daily for 5 months now. Keyboard is a vintage (circa 1987) Apple Keyboard M0116 with Alps SKCM Orange. The layout is not ideal, but the feel and sound of these switches is simply fenomenal!

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?

I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
