Drop Alt Device not Found When Flashing Firmware

more_vert
I compiled some new firmware for my Alt keyboard through the web tool, downloaded the latest distribution of the firmware loader (for MacOS) and attempted to load the firmware onto the keyboard. I put the keyboard into DFU mode (I tried doing this by pressing fn+b and also using the reset button on the back with a pin) but the firmware loader did not find the device on any port. It just tries "scanning for device for 60 seconds" and then nothing happens. This is a brand new keyboard I just got in the mail today. I used the original cable on multiple usb ports. The keyboard works fine, I just can't flash the firmware. Has anyone run into this issue before?

OK. I think I got it fixed. There are two issues. One is the chipID issue, the other one is the applet-flash-*.bin file name issue. Here are the files for flash firmware on Mac.

Same problem here. Just received the keyboard today. Keyboard works great! Just can not flash firmware... Tried all USB ports on my MacBook and both ports on the keyboard. Tried Sudo.. None of these works.

I also have this problem and I think we are in the same batch, I tried multiple computers and cables but it does not seem like the software recognizes my alt?
