Why yes, that would be a box of 50 Svetlana 6N13S/6AS7G tubes, scored from a vendor in Ukraine and finally arriving today after a rather long journey (damn youz COVID-19). Sadly not a factory sealed box, but at least all from a single batch. If I’m reading the date code right, these are from ‘73. Now I don’t have to worry about the chance that my DarkVoice will eat these like candy. Excessive? Probably. Worth it? Yuuuup.

Can you share the vendor info? I’d like to order few too :)

AmJoshThis order was from general10821, but I've also had good dealings with businkaolya, kambremer, 12-rocketman, world-ua, thebestsound, siberian-market, and soundlander. I mainly buy factory boxes (50+ tubes), but sometimes will get orders like this one which are likely from an even larger box being split. My goal there is getting a bunch from the same batch to make it easier to match tubes without having to break out the tester sets too often. Shipping from the Russian vendors to California just sucks, usually takes 3 months minimum unless they're doing airmail. All of the Ukrainian packages arrive in about 1.5 months, sometimes as little as a few weeks when the USPS isn't screwing up badly.
