This is my first time swapping the Drop ALT's keycaps (or any keycaps for that matter). I've watched plenty of videos on how to do it, but somehow still ran into some pitfalls which I shared in the IG story snapshots attached. Overall, I do like the lower profile of these Artifact Bloom Series Keycap Set: Red Velvet keycaps because given their shorter height, they actually require more distance to travel compared to the default Drop ALT keycaps. I find that I am fat-fingering less and feel more comfortable with the keys themselves, plus I can actually feel the tactile nature of these Cherry MX Brown switches more since the keys need to travel farther before actuating.  I do feel like these keys are made from a cheaper plastic though, but which makes it oddly smoother and gives me an ASMR feel when I'm typing, it's hard to describe! I think I could really get used to these caps. There's nothing against the double shot DROP ALT keycaps, because you could see the RGB through the keys and they have more grip on your fingers, which I suppose would be better for gaming, but I like the smoother keys for typing and the lower profile for the tactile feel altogether.   Just wanted to share my first experience swapping caps.
