Studio/professional audio interfaces tend to have pretty crappy headphone outs. I would recommend getting something that is more dedicated. Keep the Scarlett as dedicated: If you want to keep things simple with your current set-up and keep the Scarlett as the main DAC, I would recommend getting a dedicated amp that can take the headphone out from the Scarlett and provide more power and a lower output impedance which are the only real benefits you'll get. Attenuator: If you are looking to go on the cheap and run something much more sensitive than the 250 ohm DT990 e.g. IEM's then I would recommend making or buying a cheap L-Pad that goes inline with them. This will drop the volume, noise floor/thd or output impedance (if made correctly). New Audio - Interface: If you ware wanting to buy a new audio interface to replace the Scarlett but keep the inputs etc. I would recommend Motu interface's as they have pretty good headphone outputs, Don't know ifng they have enough power though. I would stay away from steinberg because their headphone outs are trash. Check out Julian Krause on youtube for more information and comparisons between other audio interfaces. Dedicated DAC/Amp: If you are going to get a dedicated DAC/Amp just for music with no inputs then there are heaps of options, you could get separate dac-amp or a combination dac-amp. You can get portable/semi-portable or dedicated desktop dac/amp's. I have an XDuoo XD-05 plus which I'm finding is extremely good for money, and easy to use, It's also semi-portable. In terms of desktop amp's, THX, Schiit Audio and Topping have very solid choices. So much of it is personal preference its hard to know exactly what you want. Any questions, please ask

Preamp for volume control of left, right channels?
Does anyone know of a preamp-like device that can adjust the level of the left and right channels with either a pan/balance control or separate left/right volume controls? I want to be able to turn down the right channel a few DB to compensate for partial hearing loss. I'd love something with the footprint and pricing of the various JDS Labs, Mayflower and/or Schitt boxes but haven't seen anything on the market that can do pan/balance other than high-end headphone amps. Thanks!

Drop x Panda buzzing noise
This buzzing noise started to happen like a month ago. It was just static noise after being paired to the phone, then it getting louder and louder now, whenever I try to connect it on Bluetooth, it goes crazy buzzing sounds, for like five minutes and non-stop both earpieces. It also can't be controlled with a sound bar or anything, just goes loud so that I can't wear it at all. But, weirdly it stops when I connect it to my laptop using the bundle 3.5mm cable. What do you think of this problem? I'm gonna contact the customer support team, but this is so uncomfortable to use it. Sometimes it goes like 10 minutes. Did anyone have the same issue as mine?

DAC/Amp to use with Scarlett Solo interface?
I have a Scarlett Solo interface I use to make music sometimes and it really cleans up my music playback. Although being used for music creation, the playback is a flat response, but I think a DAC or an Amp could spice things up and be used for a good mix reference tool. Does anyone use a DAC or Amp with a music making interface?

Will changing earcup material change sound signature?
Hello! I am new to the world of high-end audio with a pair of Sennheiser 58Xs, and I love them. However, I find them a bit uncomfortable — I was wondering if purchasing the sheepskin earpads will significantly change the sound signature. If it would, has anyone tested it? Thanks for your help!
