Is there a Clicky Linear switch option for the Drop Alt?
I apparently have carpal tunnel in my left hand, possibly in addition to other issues in my left arm. After some research I think I need something like red linear switches because pressing my Razer Greens (roughly the same as clicky blue on other brands) is just too hard on my left arm now.
However, I both like the clicky sound and use it to help me type. From what Im reading Kailh Bronze is a linear switch but has a click sound. Im hoping this means its like a cherry MX red in terms of being easier to press but still makes the sound without causing additional force to actuate the key.
In short, does the Drop Alt come with an option on the Drop shop when I order it that is comparable to the kailh bronze, or otherwise something similar to a cherry MX red but one that still clicks without adding any more force to press the key?
EDIT: Decided not to take the chance it would sell out and ordered it with the silver linears. The pricing was better to just buy it prebuilt with the linears and the caps, and just buy whatever switch to hotswap in later if I dont like the non-clickyness.
Still would be interested in switches that were easier to press than the blues/razer greens, but still clicked, if anyone has suggestions.

Thanks for the information on the switches so far. For the time being Im trying out my Kailh Speed Silvers, which I've had for a few days now. It seems like the natural noise they make is enough for me to manage without the clicky feel.
Unfortunately they dont seem that much easier to push, although given their reduced distance to actuate the signal, I might be able to train myself to use reduced force on the keys. I'm thinking I might need O rings to reduce how far I can actually press the buttons down, particularly the WSAD where I seem to have trouble comfortably resting my fingers on top while trying to move a character.
Also debating on trying to order reduced tension springs and just opening up the switches to swap them out, seems to be the cheapest option, if a little time consuming. Though I wonder if the O rings or reduced tension springs would just cause more impact on my fingers when the key bottoms out.

If you want clicky MX switches. The only options are click jackets (MX blues), and click bars (i.e Kailh BOX Jade). The BOX Jade is heavy and won't help with the carpal tunnel.

kahil silent box browns are soft and have the click along with being less harsh on your fingers.

*Help* Screw in stabilizers not fitting in Dropshift V2 keyboard
I'm trying to build a mechanical keyboard with screw in stabilizers, I've build some mechanical keyboards with click-in stabilizers, never with screw in. Somehow one of the pins of the metal top-part collides with the screw in stabilizer of the numpad "enter key". I already tried grinding of a bit of the pin that collides with the stabilizer, but unfortunately I can't make it fit/close properly. You can see that the pin of the toppart leaves a mark on the bottompart of the stabilizer, see picture 2. What am I missing? Using Durock V2 in a Dropshift fullsize V2. Want to build a Clicky Mech Keyboard. Where to begin?
Hello all. Am brand new to the idea of building my own keyboard. Have not a clue where to begin this process. I am a Sim Game enthusiast. American Truck Sim, DCS Flight Sim and goes from there. Need some real help on where to start for making my own Full Size, Clickey Mechanical KB. I want each key to have its own backlighting. Are there keys that are better than others for this? Is there a great spot on site for a person who has never even taken a keyboard apart? Let alone fixed or built one? I would like it to fit my theme of Red and Black. Yet maybe have the option of changing things up a bit. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all kindly, Durazell
