Do you like to hear yourself talk?
I mean in recordings as a singer, actor, or narrator.
If so, do other people like to hear you talk as well? Are you interested in using your voice to gain a following, share a story, or support yourself financially?
There are a lot of things you should know in order to be successful at any of these pursuits. That doesn't mean you should be discouraged if you're a beginner to professional voice work; in fact, this is possibly the best time ever to get started in the industry!
But you still need to work hard in order to make your voice drown out the competition. Opportunity always comes with competition, but these tips will help you ace your auditions and land those juicy gigs.
Upgrade Your Equipment
If you're already serious about voice work, you probably have a lot of decent equipment already. But is there anything you're missing?

Fulla 3 from Schiit vs SoundblasterX G6 from Creative for DT990 Pro 250 Ohm
I am very new to the audiophile community, just started my research on DAC’s and Amp’s and what the best audiophile headphones are for my case. I have my mind set on the DT 990 Pro 250ohm. But I can’t decide on a Schiit Fulla 3 or a Creative SoundblasterX G6. If it helps, I am looking to use these for gaming on my PC and PlayStation. I am thinking maybe the fulla 3 because it has a mic input, and I’m looking at getting a modmic Uni for PlayStation parties. But, if the G6 out preforms the Fulla, I can easily just get a ModMic usb and plug it into the back of my PlayStation. Anyways, any help is greatly appreciated.

What is the best microphone for recording audio AND voice calls?
I'm looking to get a microphone for Christmas this year but I'm not sure what I should get, or where to even start. I need one that's good for singing and voice recording but can also be used for online calls and voice chat in video games.
What's a good mic that generally does both? Are there any huge differences between mics for recording vs. mics that are best for voice chat/calls? And what other supplies would you recommend?
My price range would be anywhere up to $300 or very slightly over.
