Yes, frosty on the left & Yes, it's very subtle though i think your key/loob choice will have a far greater impact on how it sounds.

Hi, thanks! It's a FormD T1. Here's some links: https://www.reddit.com/r/FormD/ https://formdworks.com/ https://youtu.be/Ou4iWsBNSmY It's not the easiest case to actually buy but if you are here then you'll be used to that ;) Case is amazing you will not get bored, skint maybe, but not bored.

Hey mate, can I ask where you got that rotary encoder and how you applied it on the keyboard

Hej. It this component: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FYHG2QZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm UK, if the link doesn't work search for Gikfun Rotary Encoder. Each key position in the left most column of the Preonic PCB has the additional footprint to mount an encoder, you can put 1 encoder in any of these positions. Some of the guidance says 'only one' but in the qmk guides there is redundant code that suggests multiple encoders are possible. So pick which row you want the encoder and solder it in place. Do this before you add the plate and switches. At this point it will just work, i think the default code sets the encoder to 'page scroll'. If you want to change that... set up QMK and get into the default keymap.c file and swap the function to what ever you want. The encoder 'press' uses the standard keymapping so treat that as if it is a normal switch (took me a while to figure that out!). Good luck!
