With whatever "America" used to mean hanging in the balance (and a psycho-whack-job attempting to claim victory before the votes are counted), that's the absolute dumbest thing I've read on MD today.

We wouldn't be able to even have this 'conversation' in many places around the world. I happen to believe this is a great nation. Our democratic republic is the best system in the world, by far. You and the demonrats can't stand it, but it has withstood the test of time and it will weather this crisis, as well. "Go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend". This time though, you won't be justified in the end, but liberty will surely prevail. Your entire belief system is based on hate, Ray. Hate is poisonous and it isn't doing you any good, but I wish you the best. I see no further point in subjecting myself to the waves of HATRED you exude.

Thanks dude, back atcha ;-) Seems like some folks here just like to be negative (no really) but it ain't gonna make a difference in my day, or my outlook. America will stay the course, our system has managed to overcome worse than one party's hatred. It will ultimately prove to be poisonous as hatred always is. Also pointless. Thx for the encouragement, we'll prevail.

I’d like to think that I could’ve been friends with the late Hideo Matsushita, founder of Japanese Hi-Fi powerhouse Audio-Technica. Recommends for 6XX replacement cable(s)?
The wires on the left channel plug, just before the socket are acting up and I need to replace the cable for my Sennheiser 6XX headphones. Looking at Amazon, I see actual Sennheiser cables but one of them does not have the removable 1/4 plug (I use a DAC with 1/8" jack), and I would rather not add even more connection unknowns by using an adapter down to 1/4", and the other Sennheiser cable is far too long for my usage (looking for around 2 meters or just a touch longer. The 6XX have been around for a while and I'm sure I'm not the first to need a replacement cable. I'm actually surprised that Drop doesn't offer them perpetually like they do with the ear pads, which ironically my stock pads are holding up just fine. I'm not looking for $100+ cables here, just a solid replacement for what the 6XX came with. Thanks!
