It looks like you have third-party earpads on there. Maybe it's just the angle, but they look much thicker than the stock velour ones that come with the headset. Are they third-party? If so, where did you get them? I find the stock earpads too thin for me and my ears touch the inside of the headset. I'm looking for thicker earpads but am having some difficulty finding some.

SkykingUSANo they are the stock velour pads. I think it's the camera's angle. I may have taken the shot on the ultrawide lens so the far edge of the picture may be a little distorted giving the impression of a bigger/thicker pads. The velour pads are very comfortable and doesn't feel warm at all. They do produce 'stronger' bass when compared with the mesh ones.

DavesdayThanks for the reply. I tried these tonight for a few hours straight and they helped the comfort for me. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B082FNZV6N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They are not the best looking and probably not the thickest but at least they fit, and they did keep the cups away from my ears more than the velour pads do (they are also the cheapest I could find). I have three other earpads coming though so will try all of them before I decide what to keep.

Naufal_DIt is really good and meets my expectation (and the hype). Do they have all the music abilities? Probably not but it does make me look into the Sennheiser line seriously again. The bass does get a boost but its nowhere near bass heads would want. For me it is just nice. The PC38x is quite bright and detailed (in comparison to what I have) but doesn't get sibilant or fatiguing.
