No surprise there; no Swatch Group, no ETA. Unless you’re buying used, or have a time machine, new Glycines come with Selita movements. You can read about the two movements (ETA 2824-2 vs SW200-1) here: https://calibercorner.com/glycine-caliber-gl-224/ But in part the article states: "Throughout the official Glycine documentation and technical data, they only refer to the caliber GL224 as a Swiss automatic movement. ETA and Sellita both engrave their logo and caliber number below the balance wheel, however, the easiest way to tell if your Glycine watch has the ETA or Sellita is by the jewel count on the rotor. If your GL224 powered watch has the ETA 2824-2, it will say 25 jewels. If your watch has the Sellita caliber SW200-1, the jewel count will be 26."

If instead you were going off the SPECS MD published in the drop (where they clearly state 25 Jewels) you should have know better: A) MD doesn't actually know a lot about watches (merely what they're told) and often make errors and post vague information. That and, B) The ETA vs Selita movement issue was discussed at length in the comments and made clear by @ED61 On the other hand, if you wanted to return the watch for a refund, you'd be on firm ground because MD certainly misrepresented the movement. All that said, everyone who's purchased a Glycine on this site (including me recently) has been pretty happy overall. There have been some issues, but I don't recall any movement meltdowns. I'd be interested to hear what you plan to do, keep it or return it?
