Many times we hear things like, "If they take care of their shoes, they likely take care of other things around them.".

For some, it's purely utility, and others it can be the basics. If we're talking cars; the basics is "it goes from point A to point B". If we're talking EDC, you're likely using the same wallet for 15+ years because it still does its job.
