Is that the included cable or another?

Combat_SporkIt comes with both a cable with separate audio jack (like for the PC) and one that's made for console (single cable with no split that handles both audio and mic).

Does it quickly drain your controller battery? How long does the battery last with the headphones connected? I am pretty much stuck between going PC38X or G533 wireless for 50% off on Amazon.

uriel250I haven't noticed much drain, but I only play for a couple of hours at a time. I usually go three play sessions before charging, and haven't run out of battery yet. If I were to guess, I'd say it lasts 8+ hours.

Is the mic an improvement compared to the inbuilt one in the controller?

T-MaxIt's supposed to be a fantastic mic according to reviews, but I haven't used it yet.

I probably keep it between 50%-60%, so I have some headroom. It does sound full, but I'm unable to determine how much of that is this 3D audio or the headphones. I probably need to pull up music to really test the dac in this controller.

Tylerstravissince mine finally arrived a few days ago, I might share my feedback as well: Coming from an old Logitech, the soundstage this thing provides is amazing. And for a designated gaming headset the music listening experience is incredible as well. I have no issues with loudness, however I am sensitive to volume, so yeah. Anyways, I'd definitely recommend it regardless of the use cases.
