Are you using balanced or unbalanced/standard headphones? One of two issues immediately come to mind: First, your using balanced headphones, however the term “SE” means that it’s a “Single Ended” (or shared ground) socket as opposed to one like the 2.5mm for balanced cans/cables. If that’s the case, I’d think you could just get an adapter, however your grounds will become one making your cans effectively unbalanced/standard. For some it’s an issue, but this particular amp releases such little (as in like none) hum or noise that it shouldn’t be an issue IMHO. Second, your using unbalanced headphones, but they have a 3.5mm termination. That’s a real easy fix as you just need a 3.5mm (female) to 1/4” (male) adapter, and you’re all set. They’re a dime a dozen on sites like Amazon! I see this is an older post now, but hopefully it’ll help somebody! ✌️
