Need recommendations for a mini pc

more_vert
My old "desktop" is on its last legs, and I wanna put it to rest before it completely dies. Looking for something with a decent amount of power and as small a footprint as possible. Size of a chrome book or smaller is what I'm hoping for, no screen though as it's destined to be a desktop.
Minimum 8gb ram and some sort of graphics card capabilities, we do a medium amount of gaming. Ideally it would be something with 12-16gb ram, i5 or i7 processor, hdmi, USB 3.0, and at least one Ethernet port.
I do, unfortunately, need it to run Windows.......my Mac and Linux devices are perfectly healthy and don't require replacement.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Depending on your budget the Intel NUCs might be a good choice. There pretty small but not R Pi small.

ChinChillaThis does seem to be in the ballpark, thanks for interpreting what I was actually asking. Anything else like this? I love to have options.
I'm excited to be proven wrong, but I don't think you can get those specs at near Pi sizes. An intel iX processor on it's own is already half the real estate of the Pi and you'd still need ram and storage space. You could do flash storage to minimize size I think? Still interested to see if anyone has other ideas

AlexPkHaha, i should have been more specific. I've seen things that were about twice the size of a pi, and a little thicker, but I don't know what they're called, who makes them, or what the specs for them are. Doesn't need to be as small as a Pi, but something that takes up as little space as possible.
Better physical explanation would be something the size of a chrome book, but no screen. It's destined to be a desktop, and if I could somehow mount it to the back of the tv I'm using as a display I would be elated. Thanks much for the reply.
