Sam Cooke - Portrait of a Legend SACD ripped iso, from my Dell Precision laptop via a Burson Play DAC/Amp to a variety of headphones. Auditioning the Play so tried out the beloved HD-540 Ref IIs (from 1991), my Alessandros MS-1s, my son's Onkyo ES-FC300s (just replaced the cable for him) to a pair of old Incipio NX-100 f38 headphones the boy used for gaming and then onto my OH's Sennheiser Momentum 2.0s.... great stuff! Just dropped the Sam Cooke for Firehouse Five Plus Two "Yes Sir That's My Baby" from the original 78.

dlbmontrealJust popped the play into my Hi-Fi as a source, so Sam Cooke's dulcet tones (along with Buddy Holly,

Faith No More, Led Zep, Queen and Amy Winehouse) are being pumped out in pure Class A via a pair of Musical Fidelity X-A50 monoblocks and my lovely old Castle Stirling speakers.
