Nice. I have a 1963 reissue, it's one of my favourites. I really ought to pick up some vintage examples.

RaithmirYours must be a bit larger and with a red star in a gold frame, right? I got mine as a consolation gift from a Chinese airline in 1996. I was their passenger on a flight from Beijing to Dubai and managed to leave my Orient on the board I was flying. The Orient watch suffered a fall and was run over by heavy vacuum cleaner while laying on a floor of a first class. When I discovered, that I left my watch on the board I called the airline and asked them to look for it. When I finally returned to States three weeks later I discovered a package from China. When I opened it, I found my Orient - all busted up and with no crystal, this watch and short and very cordial letter of apology for what happened to my watch. I was very happy with the way they handled this situation.

AlevYeah that's right. Nice story, I guess you can't be too upset about the Orient when they go above and beyond like that.

RaithmirAfter I lost my Orient I'd decided not to buy an expensive watches anymore because I obviously was not able to take a good care of them. So when I arrived at Dubai I bought cheap digital watch of no-name brand and said to myself "to the hell with it". I've managed to loose it too.
