The Staedtler Mars Lumograph HB and 2B were my go-to pencils for years, before I took a deeper dive into the pencil world. The Palomino Golden Bear, HB and Blackwing (the Pearl is my favorite) are a nice entry into the pencil world. The Tombow Mono and Mitsubishi Hi-Uni are also very good pencils, and come in a bunch of lead grades, so you can try a couple and find what works best for you. Alternatively, for something on the cheaper side, the Apsara Absolute, and other pencils from Apsara and Nataraj, are surprisingly nice and well-made. For sharpeners, I use an Alvin Brass Bullet (small pocket sharpener, gives a small-ish point, but it's durable and easy to carry), a Palomino/Kum two-stage sharpener (longer point, but kinda cheap plastic casing), and an old Mead two-hole sharpener that I got years ago at an art supply store. I also have a larger hand-crank sharpener (Mitsubishi KH-20) that sits on my desk. It works great if you have a place to leave it and need to sharpen A LOT.

Thoughts on Wooden Pens
Hi All, I'd like to know your thoughts an opinions on pens made of wood. Things I'm interested in are shape/contour (and whether or not that is an important factor for you), price, weight, wood type (as well as color, grain structure/density). Also, RIP this community. I'm sure there are better places to buy pens anyways :(

So, uh....the Writing Community is back?
Under the COMMUNITIES menu, Writing is back under My Communities. But it's not showing up under the SHOP menu for me. And it only has one fountain pen for purchasing so far. Is this an error, or is it permanently back?

World's Best Pencils
So I've been thinking of exploring the world of pencils and wanted to get some feedback from everyone. Do you have any pencils that are a "must try"? [image] Here are a few that have caught my eye so far: Ticonderogas Palomino Golden Bears (already have the blackwings) General's Semi-Hex Nataraj Bold Staedtler Noris Eco HB Tombow Mono 100 HB Also, I have become obssessed with this great YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJJOStpzNewBJ0XfhRSsmfw While we're at it, add any reccomendations for sharpeners and erasers you also enjoy! I look forward to reading your suggestions and sharing any acquisitions I may come across.

I want to start using a fountain pen in school.
I'm in 10th grade and about last month I thought I'd learn cursive writing, I saw how quick I was getting into it and enjoying writing I thought I'd make it more enjoyable. I have about 200 shekels to spend aprox 50$ If anyone could recommend a good fountain pen/kit, I'd appreciate it. I am probably getting a Parker pen soon since I can get it for free, but I want to know what I should look into. Thanks.

Human Body Aging
Throughout their lives, human beings encounter continuous changes from one stage of life to the next. In fact, this process starts from conception, the fetus develops and eventually a child is born. Being young, people rarely think of old age, but when the time passes, most adults perceive it negatively. However, the human development process is natural and it occurs whether one likes it or not. While a person cannot prevent aging, he or she can make this period of life more joyful. This essay written on demand of https://essaysbank.com/essay/corey-camel studies a psychological perception based on a human body aging and discusses whether people can enjoy this experience. The life can be divided into several stages, for example, childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, or aging. Regardless of efforts, an individual can make, aging is inevitable. At old age, the human body starts to wrinkle, becomes tired even of simple tasks, suffers frequently from aging-related illnesses and, in...
