Drop ALT LEDs not working.

more_vert
Hi there, I'm a brand new Drop ALT owner and my keyboard is working correctly except the LEDs do not function whatsoever. I flashed the keyboard using the files in Drop's GitHub + the default .bin file from the configurator thinking that maybe the firmware was the issue. This effectively bricked the keyboard and I needed to do a lot of legwork to get it up and running again. I ended up installing the QMK Toolbox and flashing their default Massdrop ALT firmware on the keyboard and now I'm back at square one with an otherwise perfect keyboard that doesn't light up in any way. I read that this board is very power hungry and I have made sure that it's in a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port on my motherboard. I have an "ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming" mobo. I've also attempted to plug the keyboard in with nothing else attached to my computer. I've tried other USB-C cables and I'm still scratching my head. I'm not sure if it's important but when I connect the keyboard sometimes the LEDs will quickly flash on before the keyboard goes dark. I really want to keep this board but I'm not sure if this is a hardware issue or perhaps an issue with my setup as I like to run a dac and an interface via USB from my IO panel on the motherboard. Thanks for taking the time, any ideas or input would be much appreciated!
