I recently got my PC38X headset, but when I position the mic up it doesn't automatically mute, even after the click. Is there anything I have to set or troubleshoot? Also, I really love the sound and comfort of the headset, but would there be a way to make it wireless? any recommended Bluetooth adapters or something similar?

The click is a mechanical switch, it isn't anything you can set on the software side. There have been people who took apart their headphones to clean the switch contacts, but I would probably just replace it considering you just got it.

tigmwhow do I get to doing this? haha, because when I use it on my laptop, the people I'm talking to said regardless of where the Mic was they could still hear me, whether it was up or down regardless of the click.

MarkMendoza13It sounds like your laptop might not be using the headset mic and might be using your built in mic. I have the game ones (more or less same design) and my flip up mute stopped working after a couple years. I didn't mind though because when it was up nobody could hear hardly anything due to the mic position. If people hear you the same when it's up, I'd go to your sound settings and make sure its using the headset mic rather than one built in to your laptop

i use mine for 9 hours of work calls per day. I attach it to my FIIO btr5 which just clips onto my shirt and it will last all day as a bluetooth receiver and amp.
