Sorry about the late response, but I bet those 603s would do just fine with the MT-12N. They're half a dB more sensitive than the JBL Studio 570 I've been using with mine, and for rooms on the smaller side, that combo gets rather loud. I wouldn't want to use either combo in a cavernously large living room.

The b&w are not very efficient speakers I don’t think 9 watts per channel would be enough power for them.

CForsytheI don't think we can say for sure that this would not power 603s to your desired listening level before distorting. I find that tube amp power is deceptive and I'm often surprised that I can power to my listening levels with 9WPC when a solid state 30WPC seems weak. The 603s are 90db sensitivity. Manufactures do lie about sensitivity! What I really like now is a good tube pre-amp or even a ss pre with nice harmonics combined with a modern type D - Purifi, Hypex, or 2x TPA3255. Combining the power and bass of a type D with the mid and upper harmonics from the tube pre does something magical that outshines my expensive Type A & Push-Pull amplifiers.
