Is the mic removable, I have searched for many days for a perfect headset, I'm looking for a headset that is portable and has a "audiophile" grade sound for gaming and music. This would be my biggest investment in a while as a student, if someone can point me to better option under 250USD it would be nice. (Have looked at bose qc35ii and wh1000m3)

No. But then I would look into EPOS H6PRO. It has removable mic, and great for media listening + gaming. I chose PC38x over H6pro, due to personal preference of comfort. EPOS H6PRO comes in both OPEN and CLOSED. If you plan to use them as headphones in public, go with CLOSED.

MARTlNYour PC38X? I would consider it, but as it turns out the wh-1000xm3 is -200eur (189eur) in my country so i'm going for the deal. Thanks for the offer!

Unless you are a super snobby audiophile which mean you wont be using the HD58x or pc38x. There is hardly any difference for sound between the HD58x or the pc38x. I would recommend the pc38x’s if you game at all as they have some punched up higher ends for hearing footsteps and a better gaming bass profile. While still being amazing for music.

Thor7676"There is hardly any difference for sound between the HD58x or the pc38x" Lol, not really. Even for gaming, pc38x is better for competitive gaming, while 58x is much better for narrative games.
