Do the Drop+THX Panda headphone ear-cups come with directions on how to change them? One thing I am seeing by those who have tried to take the original ear-cups off was they are very hard to remove due to some adhesive etc. I would absolutely hate to buy the new Sheepskin ear-cups and I end up breaking my awesome headphones trying to remove the original ear-cups. If they don’t come with directions this should be something you start doing AND/OR make those directions available via an instructional video on the Panda or the Panda Ear-Cups Details or Community section. Looking forward to seeing your reply, until then ..... Safe and Happy Listening. Boomer 🐼 🎧

The pads are actually easy to remove. They are not glued into place. But what is difficult is putting them back on. It needs a surprising amount of force to snap the clips back into place to the point where you feel like you might break them. Idk if its the mount’s fault or the pads but that is my experience with them. Cheers and let us know how those sheepskin pads fare :D

Huh, then i guess there are variants with or without glue applied onto their pads....Interesting

It seems like the glued bits has more to do with excess glue on the stock pads and/or not enough drying time after the construction of the stock pads before press fit assembly with the cans. The posts on the headphone side that go up into the pad retaining ring push directly against a pleather surface that is coated with glue.

There is no adhesive holding the pads on. It’s snapping clips. Easily replaceable and swappable.

My pair was ordered through the early Indiegogo campaign and I’ve had absolutely no problem removing the pads ever. No evidence of any adhesive anywhere.

Yeah, my order was in the first few minutes of the initial drop that quickly ended before the early Indygogo started. Delivered July 2. The adhesive isn't everywhere, just on the posts that stick into the pad assembly, and not on every one.

You can see where it actually tore off the adhesive from the pleather during the swap, especially the middle one.
