Is it possible to have RGB sleep on Drop Alt High Profile?

more_vert
I have a Drop Alt High Profile mechanical keyboard and was just curious as to if there is any way to put the RGB lighting to sleep when my laptop and external monitor go to sleep? I have a Razer Blade 15 laptop and Samsung Odyssey G7 external monitor that both go to sleep after 15 minutes of no use, and was just wondering if there is a way to set it up so that the RGB lighting on my keyboard goes to sleep and wakes up at the same time my laptop and monitor do.

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be of much help to you, but my low-profile ALT's RGB does turn off when my computer does to sleep. I've made no changes to this behavior / it's how it has always been for me out of the box :/

Is your keyboard plugged directly into your computer or into a hub / monitor passthrough? What about your mouse? At least for troubleshooting purposes, try seeing if your ALT keyboard can wake up your laptop from sleep when plugged directly into your computer (if it isn't already). I noticed that my ALT can wake up my computer from sleep as long as the keyboard always stays plugged into the computer. If my computer goes to sleep, then I unplug the keyboard & plug it back in, it will not be able to wake up the computer up from sleep until after I wake up the computer then put it to sleep again. So based off of this, if your keyboard is plugged into your monitor's hun or something when the computer sends the signal to your monitor to sleep, if your monitor cuts power (effectively unplugs) your keyboard for even a second, it's possible that your ALT won't be able to wake up your computer. When my ALT has been unplugged from a sleeping computer & plugged back in, I'll see a flashing orange LED in the LED strip around the case of the keyboard (this is when the keyboard will be unable to wake up the computer). If don't unplug the keyboard when the computer goes to sleep, this orange LED will not appear. Do you see this blinking orange LED on your keyboard when it is unable to wake up your computer?

pkennethvMy Alt keyboard is plugged in via the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable directly to my laptop. My Logitech Pro Wireless mouse, the USB receiver is plugged in via a standard USB-A port on the Razer Chroma stand.
