Hey guys, i would like to get some help to choose best components for My first build mechanical keyboard. I am living with my girlfriend and she cant handle the sound of keyboards so i need a silent One bit Still confortible to play with. Criterier: 80 - 85 % keyboard Silent as possible ( Chery mix red silent) i think is Good? Need vibration matt O-ring A nice keyboard frame Buttons Have u guys any suggestion for My build? It is an jungel in this browser and some help is needed. What DO i need to buy to get a full set?

Alpaca Silents are a good options for switches

For switches I would recommend checking out reviews and sound tests of Gazzew Boba U4 or Boba Pink Linear (sometimes called bobagum) or silent Gateron Inks. I haven't tried Cherry MX Silent Reds but every review I saw said they were scratchy. As for O-Rings, you can put them on pretty much any keycaps and they will reduce the sound, but make the keys feel mushy as a result. From the sound tests I heard you probably wouldn't need them on Bobas or other good silent switches if they are in a board that has some sound dampening.
