Are the 2 cables that connect to the headphone cans 2.5mm or 3.5mm?

They changed the plugs at some point. I had an early release model HE-4XX and it uses 2.5mm ports on the headphones. It broke recently and I bought a new one of these as a replacement since the sound is good enough and the price is nice. The new ones I got use a 3.5mm port and so my balanced cable I had bought is no longer compatible :(
Why would Drop go and change the headphones? And why not tell anyone?

EniGmA1987if you wanna get decent new cables without hurting the wallet then i recommend venture electronics shop, you can customize to your liking and prices not bad.

EniGmA1987i thought i was losing my mind bc i have a pair of elegia's that use 3.5 and i know they dont fit my he4xx and im trying to buy balanced cables now and i really thought i was going crazy i checked to see if they were the same cables on both sets of cans like 6 times lol thankyou for this comment andd my sanity back

The tuning was great, very HD800 like without the strange wide sound stage.. However for my head the arms don’t extend enough to fit the ear. As it is noise cancelling headphones like small ear cups.
My ear lobes bottom is slightly touching the ear pad. Ok for 30mins not ok for a few hours

Trying to add Topping LA90D amp to Topping A9D preamp
Any help would be appreciated...I added an amp to my streamer, dac, headphone amp/preamp system and am now not getting any music through the headphone jacks on the preamp - the specifics: Wiim Pro Plus - optical connection to - Topping D50 iii dac - TSR to XLR connection to - Topping A9D headphone amp/preamp (all worked fine as a headphone amp until I tried adding:) - XLR connection to - Topping LA90 D amp. Amp switches are set to bypass, stereo, low gain. In this configuration, I am not getting any music to either my SE or XLR headphone jacks. I made sure I switched the A9D to "preamp" and "xlr" modes. I have no idea what I might be overlooking or missing...any thoughts would be deeply appreciated! Thank you.

Mic not working pc38x
I just got my pc38x in the mail today and the out put is quiet but fine and I'm happy. But the mic will not work when on my Xbox series and I was wondering if this issue can be resolved or if the head set is not compatible with Xbox.
