Just got an email telling me mine has shipped today. YAY!!!
Be three weeks before I get them (they’re headed to my parents’ place in NH—I live just outside Montreal and they’re coming up for my daughter’s grad in a few weeks) but that’s better than the original mid-August arrival time. Funny that I ordered these two months after the 58x and they’re shipping nearly 2 months sooner.

Isn’t it interesting that folks are so willing to dump fairly large sums of dough into Audio equipment they’ve never actually heard, but have only *heard* about?

RayFYup, love that the flipper doesn’t stick out to the side of the handle (easier to access the rest of the pocket that way), and the modified Compression lock. Looks like a smooth flipper! Hopefully it’s a titch thinner than the custom Smock.

i'm wanting to buy the hd6xx from massdrop. i am also in canada (B.C.) and i'm wondering about massdrop's shipping to canada methods. i'm aware of the $15 shipping, but would there be large fees for tax/duty collection at delivery with UPS for example. i asked canada post and they said $10 flat rate for tax/duty collection when required. this will be my first purchase from massdrop so i'm not sure which shipping method they will use. any experience you could share would be appreciated.

marshmcd650In my case, i bought one to Chile, and it is comming two weeks ago from DHL global post. I think it's very nice as i always buy from Amazon using DHL and it's pretty fast and safe. The only different thing, is that DHL gave the package to "my local post office" which i dont know which one it is, because we have various local post offices. I'm just waiting for it.

Is the connector (cable to headphone) supposed to move a bit when plugged in? When fully clicked into place I can still wiggle the entire metal connector around some. Sound doesn't appear to be affected, so the connection must be solid, but I wanted to make sure I didn't have a lose terminal or something since they're still brand new.

Drop BMR1 speakers + Schiit Modi 3E DAC
Hello! Was wondering if anyone would help me troubleshoot something. I recently got the BMR1 nearfield desktop speakers, got them all plugged in and everything. Bluetooth mode works great, but I try to plug them into my Schiit Mode 3E I can't get any sound through them from my pc (even when I switch outputs on the DAC itself). My headphones (which are connected to my Schiit Magni 3. Am I simply misunderstanding where and how I should be plugging these in? thanks!

PC38X Microphone not working
I got the headphones yesterday, the microphone worked at first just after i plugged it in, after a short period of time (probably 10 minutes) it suddenly stopped working, i tried absolutely everything i've seen online, the headphones work perfectly fine but the microphone only produces static, i plugged it in the front and back again, i physically moved the mic up and down to mute and unmute, i reinstalled all my audio drivers, replugged everything, checked all the windows options related to microphone privacy were correct, tried both cables and none of this works. Is there anything i can do?

Safety Concern with No Power Button on Drop BMR1 Nearfields
I recently received the new speakers from Drop and must say that they have an amazing sound, but there is a massive safety concern that I can see with this product. I do not like having my devices powered on at all times in an effort to save on electricity and reduce fire hazards. Since this new product does not have a power button I must unplug it once I shut everything down to make sure it does not draw power. In order to turn the speakers back on, I must re-plug them with a glaring issue: ******** There are sparks whenever I re-plug the power to the speakers ******** These sit on my desk now which means there is a possibility of paper (from homework, mail, etc.) near these speakers. Needless to say I do not want sparks being created near an area where flammable items such as paper may be. It boggles my mind why drop engineers decided to omit the functionality of a power button when there is a button on the device. The most the button does is rest the device, which could be...

Creative BlasterX H7 Replacement Headband
Does anyone know where I could get a [third party] replacement headband for the Creative Labs BlasterX H7 (same specs as the H5) gaming headphones? It doesn’t seem like an OEM replacement is even available. I have a few other pairs just for gaming, but I would really like to keep these usable for the foreseeable future.

Monitors Heating up?!
Hey guys I need help. When I plug the monitors in, there's a small spark at the back of the speakers. Once it's been on for a while, the side shown in the picture where the power plugs into heats up to high temps 118 Farenheit. If I place the temp gun to the back, it doesnt even read how high it is, it just says HI. I'm pretty sure that this is not normal. Did I get a faulty unit? Because I've tried other plugs in my house and its the same. If anyone can help that'd be amazing <3 Love their sound btw thats why I want to keep it.

K, check this out; Round March 2018, I'd finally decided that I would pull the trigger and get in on the collaboration of Massdrop and audio giant Sennheiser for their collaboration of their legendary legit HD6xx's, otherwise known as the HD650's.
Gotta tell ya I was super bummed when, after I placed my order for these, that they would not be delivered till August 15 2018 . . DUDE that was a 5 1/2 month wait ! ! ! I didn't think I was going to make it. In fact, I KNEW I wasn't going to. So I had to occupy my time by looking for a nice DAC/AMP to drive em. That's when I came across a company called Mayflower that builds a nice powerful little unit called the ARC. Every YT review said it was a great product. This product was DEF not cheap [cost me about $384..75 after taxes, but I had to have it]. Only problem was there were no retailers in Canada that sold it. So I had to order it from the states, and it arrived at my door up here in Canada 2 weeks later.
But that wasn't enough because at the time, I stumbled across another amp, a gamers amp [I play a lot of FPS games], from. . . lo and behold, Sennheiser. It was the GSX1000, and not only did this amp also get great reviews, but it was touted at having the best 7.1 surround sound algorithms anywhere. It wasn't cheap [$277.65 CDN], but I couldn't pass on it. So I grabbed it up from Amazon.ca and it arrived 2 days after that.
Now all I have to do is wait till mid june and my Sennheiser d.,.b 's will be in my grubby hands muuahahahaha /rubs hands deviously.
All this gang, to say that I was a happy man to see that delivery notification in my inbox :)
