Imagine a world where designers weren't allowed to lead their campaigns with shots of a 65% while not bothering to support it in their base kit. A world where riding the aesthetic and charging owners through the nose for a shift key and 1u mods was a scary tale told to children rather than reality.

DMacKBCrazy! I guess it's a good thing we live in a world where keyset designers post their initial plans in IC's to get community feedback to expand compatibility and gauge interest so the kits appeal to a large number of people, giving it the best chance to sell well and usually adding highly requested keys to kits that increase the appeal. In this world, most people in the community provide this feedback in a straightforward and positive way rather than a hypothetically snarky and entitled one, but boy wouldn't it be nice living in your fictional world where the people who actually spend time designing and making keysets and keyboard components get it 100% right out of the gate so we wouldn't even need IC posts!
