Configuring Massdrop CTRL keyboard in Ubuntu

more_vert
It's not easy being GREEN.bin. Bless the creators for making the configuration opensource so that I could even attempt to change the color of my keyboard. When trying to download and write a new profile to the keyboard in Ubuntu I am having trouble with the script recognizing my keyboard even though I see the port printed in terminal. The .bin file was downloaded directly from the configuration page: https://drop.com/mechanical-keyboards/configurator/preset/ctrl--default

Pictured above I tried having it write to the first valid device, (Nothing found) listing the USB ports, listing available devices, (Nothing found) and manually entering port numbers for the Massdrop hub device found from lsusb. And they failed as well. What am I doing wrong?

jsaylerGREEN.bin at last. It finally displayed what I needed after that article you linked reminded me that I had to physically reset the keyboard. You keep the world turning, thank you.
