I am tired of import taxes every time I participate in a drop. I don't mind paying the actual price of products in USD even with the Canadian dollar doing so bad. I was wondering if there is any chance of a Canadian branch ever opening up so drops can be mailed quicker and import taxes wouldn't apply. I know there are a lot of Canadian customers who would appreciate this as well. Something similar to what Amazon.ca does.

The THX AAA 789 headphone amp seems to be a big success thus far, but has there been any thought about developing a speaker amp using the same technology for Massdrop?
Benchmark has the AHB2 that uses the THX AAA tech in a speaker amp, and it’s received rave reviews, but it’s pretty dang expensive.
Any chance on a Massdrop collaboration or design that could offer that kind of performance for a more wallet-friendly price?
Has anyone at Massdrop thought about creating a collaborative version of the Sennheiser HD 25? Team members could confect a dark blue plastic model, or finesse and fine-tune the HD 25 Aluminum (not the Amperior; I'm talking about the proper HD 25 with fully detachable cable, etc.).
Comparison review king |Joker| of TheHeadphoneList gives the HD 25-1 his highest rating (http://theheadphonelist.com/headphone-review/sennheiser-hd25-1-ii/). I once spoke with him about his background as an audio engineer because I'm an old-time studio musician who has found that the HD 25-1 might be the only DJ headphone that can be used in studios for basics and overdubs. |Joker| seemed to agree.
I'm always recommending versions of the HD 25 to friends. It would be nice if I could bring those friends to Massdrop on the strength of a special edition with a reasonable price.
This is going to sound dumb, but I recently bought the Fiio FX1221 without knowing much about it, on a whim I guess, and don't know what to do or where to go to get music. I am used to the iPhone and iTunes, have bought quite a bit but don't think that'll be able to download to the new unit. Can someone point to a download source where I can get some tunes for free? My tastes tend to be old rock and newer country, so I don't need the latest pop or metal. Thanks to anyone that can offer some help.
Opened the package and found the AC adapter has EU plug not for US market. Unable to test the device before finding an AC adapter. Have never seen a careless manufacturer like this before. Wonder what inside looks like.
I've been using the SHP9500s with the vmoda boompro for a few years and love the combo. Figured it was time to check in on the latest and greatest.
What's the communitys favorite headphones for gaming that now? Built in mic, compatible with the boompro, or < $20 mic attachment preferred.
Been upgrading the surround in my living room and went with a pair of rp-600m for front, rp-500m for back, and a 504c for center. Wife saw the size of the 504c and nearly threw me out (lol). We were using Bose surround prior but wasn't doing the space justice. Anyone got any ideas what a good compact center channel woudl be to check out?
I have a THX 789 amp and the Grace Dac. I'm looking for the right balanced cables for my 6XX and 4XX, but I don't know what to get (size, length, terminal ends ??). I don't like what's currently available on Drop, and I don't feel like spending big bucks on this. Still, what's the point if I don't buy a quality cable with exceptional sound as well. Other than Periapt, what can anyone recommend (please tell me what size terminals I need on the cable for the headphones listed above). Thank you very much !!!
Will get myself an o2 + sdac soon, what headphones I should upgrade to(after a certain period of time). Im looking for like Sennheiser hd6xx but those will probably not have discount when I'll be buying em, or 58x jubilee
