I have to say I enjoy my 6XXs, as they're the perfect all-around headphones. I couldn't stand the thought of my AKG K702 65ths getting overused, so they've been a stellar addition. That, and they're similar enough to my Audeze (which I love, excluding the weight) that I just enjoy music with them. They're very trustworthy, and I definitely need to replace the terrible photo I took of them with a better one.

My experience with the 6XX has been very rewarding. I know they absolutely love power. It seems to love all you can send her way. The 300 ohm impedance makes the most of a good signal with astounding resolution. I made the fortunate mistake of being smitten with the FOCAL Clear. I can't say enough about their headphones, even with this middle tier offering. The Clear more than lives up to it's name. Since I can't say enough about the Clear check this out, I wrote a little review ;-) https://drop.com/talk/43807/focal-clear-review-part-1

That's funny, because I posted a shot of my 4XXs and made a similar (complementary) comment about them too, and damned if the Photo Nazis didn't take my shot down the very next day! I though it was good picture; couple of other guys thought so too--even got upvotes from MD mods and badged employees. I guess maybe someone thought my after-market cables were too risque? Hard to know, 'cause they never said why. But here's what's especially funny--even though they took down my photo, they still gave me $5 of MD Monopoly Money! I'm gonna post it again here and see if I can make another five big ones:
