bigred25929 I always wondered if the shorter Charger barrel couldn't be mounted on the rifle and vice versa? Could result in some real Frankenstein-looking weapons, not to mention seem dirty looks from the boys at ATF.

bigred25929 Yes, so far as I know they're identical. I'd end up with front-heavy pistol and you'd end up with an SBR (and a lot trouble ;- ) I've added a few accessories to mine since that other shot was taken...

RayFThe whole ATF sbr rules are silly! I mean I can't put a rubber plug on the end of my brace on my Fx9 or it becomes an SBR! Lol 😂

bigred25929 True--and now I understand they're reconsidering pistols with braces with an eye towards reclassifying them as SBRs too. I'm seriously considering the $200 stamp just to be on the safe side. Only problem is the 2-year (or more) processing time.

Work around for firmware/configuration update error "command not recognized"

I spent more than an hour attempting to update my Drop Shift keyboard. I'm not sure what has changed, but I was not able to do it entirely from the Drop website as I had previously done. I have most of the keys configured how I would like, but the default LED function was a very bright, distracting, rainbow wave going across the keyboard. Every time I turned the computer on I had to manually adjust the lights how I liked. Using the online version or the locally installed app, you first have to install the QMK XAP interface. You then have to flash your already configured firmware file, which can be done on the Drop website. If you are logged in your last configuration is saved under your account and you can alter what you like, so you don't have to start from scratch. So, following the instructions I selected the appropriate board, entered bootloader mode, but when attempting to flash the file, I would get an error that the C:/Users/Mike C..... command is not recognized...

Drop CSTM - keyboard build guide

Assembly Steps: 1. Remove the 8 case screws with a phillips head screwdriver. (Note: If your keyboard already comes with stabilizers already pre-installed and you do not want to change your switch plate, you can safely skip to step 7.) 2. Remove the structural top case once all the case screws are removed. 3. Take out the keyboard plate and PCBA assembly together and flip them around. Remove the 6 screws connecting the assembly with a phillips head screwdriver. 4. The plate and PCBA assembly should now be separate, allowing you to add the PCBA stabilizers. You will need to make (4) 2u and (1) 6.25u stabilizers for the CSTM80. Please see image below on how to create stabilizer assemblies. (Note: Test the stabilizers and make sure the stems are freely moving up and down to ensure everything is installed correctly.) 5. Hello everyone! I'm looking to join DKC, but I have a few questions. The first day of November has already passed.
