I can't be the only one...

more_vert
I'm totally surprised that there is no community for art. I'm always looking for paintings, pictures, prints, tapestries, posters, and frames. I've seen the inked and screened prints come up in other communities, but that's about it. I feel like it would work well on a forum such as this. Maybe I'm just a fool, but I can't be the only one.

I was thinking a Cooking or entire Housing area would be cool. Nice kitchen knives, cool lamps, prints, that sort of thing. Housing on a whole might be too broad though in which case I'd rather Cooking -- cause food. A Travel section would be nice too but that's got no relation to this discussion - just hoping one of the MD people see it.

RyanFromGDSEYeah, a Housing/Décor community would be awesome! That would actually cover a lot of what I am looking for as well.

It's easier to drop prints because it's easy to market prints of cars, video games and sci-fi films. Art is too broad when it comes to variety. There's likely millions of different styles and subjects with no real 'brand' for art which makes it a little hard to market to people especially since everyone has different tastes especially when it comes to art.
Massdrop doesn't feel like the best medium to sell paintings and pictures to me. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but society6 is a good place to look for prints.

JefffaYeah, I get what you're saying. I've never heard of them, I'll have to check it out.
