So ray I jsut bought a used Seiko land monster. I'm going to try my hand at replacing the crystal, and putting in an nh35 movement! Wish me luck lol

It was a pig to get the bezel off. I had to put it in the freezer for 30mins then put it bezel side down in a preheated, med-high, frying pan for 60secs. It expanded it just enough to get it off the case. Then, when I got that far, I really struggled to get the crystal ring, yes there’s a threaded ring that holds the crystal in place under the bezel, it wouldn’t budge either. Buried deep inside a forum I found that the ring is reverse threads. So, needless to say, righty tighty lefty loosy does not apply to this watch. Anyways, here’s a pic before it was finished. I put orange hour, minute and the seconds hand back on. I gained a LOT of experience doing this mod and now know there’s still much to learn # snm035
