Actually, I just finished this - a Bargello tablerunner that I added borders to as the recipient wants it for a wallhanging.

I always want to start a BArgelo but be a little afraid by the time involved! And to follow the exact place for the colours. A table runners is a good idea to strat instead a Queen Size bed! Is it your first Bargello? And I want to know how you had like your experience? Do oit again another Bargello or not so interesting to do? Thanks! By the way, I love the vibrant colours of your runner! :)

OriginaltatieYes, this was my first Bargello and that’s why I tried the tablerunner. I was intimidated at first but found it easier than I thought it would be. I found that organization and labeling are very important. I actually enjoyed making it and I’m sure there will be another in the future. I recommend that you try it. A friend, who enjoys lots of color, wanted a wallhanging for a specific place in her home. I chose this Bargello for that project. Thanks for your appreciation of my color choices.

Love the color you used in making the tablerunner. I was going to say that it is too good to be sitting on a table and i hope the person that is going to use it as a wall hanging appreciates all the work and time you put into designing, cutting the fabric , sewing it together and quilting it in that wonderful curly design . By the way , in my opinion that looks like a piece that should be shown at a quilt show if it has not already been displayed.
