There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
And this isn't either of them! The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. The reason for that distinction is clear--Panda bears, only come in the first arrangement. Now at this point, everyone should be thinking about the most well-know Panda, The Rolex Panda, which is actually a Daytona, and among Rolex Daytonas, the most famous of which is the Paul Newman Daytona, which was famous first, because it was Paul's, and second because it sold at auction for $17.8 million (US Dollars). The story of that auction is well-known so I'll only...

Please give this a thumbs-up and leave a comment here to express your interest (in either Kit #1 or Kit#2), and I'll post a poll so you can sign up for a reminder if and when our faithful servants at MassDrop set up the ultimate DJI drop for us to enjoy.
• Kit #1 DJI - Retail Price: $1,698 (US). Expected discount: $175 or better
Includes: Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo AND the DJI Goggles in white
https://www.dji.com/mavic-pro-platinum?site=brandsite&from=nav
https://www.dji.com/dji-goggles?site=brandsite&from=nav
Kit #1 is a DJI-only FPV system the white Goggles using Occusync (Mavic, Air, etc.) to more precisely manage capture of photographs/video for extended distances with multiple HD & 4K optional resolutions.
----------
• Kit #2 - DJI Retail Price: $1,948 (US) ($1,399 + $549). Expected discount: $325 or better
Includes: Mavic Pro Platinum Fly More Combo AND the DJI Goggles RACING EDITION in black
https://www.dji.com/mavic-pro-platinum?site=brandsite&from=nav
https://www.dji.com/dji-goggles-re?site=brandsite&from=nav
Kit #2 is for people who want to be able to ALSO use the Goggles with other drone and VR platforms (in addition to DJI's), and since it is not offered as a kit by DJI, the components must be ordered separately. Remember, the Racing Edition (RE), which also includes a separate FPV camera and 5.8 Ghz Occusync transceiver to equip your own drone/copter for long-range Occusync FPV.
I'm hoping for a discount of at least $250 (or more) off of DJI's retail; using the Fly More Combo price as an example - which saves $200 on the cheaper ($349) white Goggles compared to the black Goggles RE.
----------
• Kit #3 - DJI Retail Price: $1,298 (US). Expected discount: $250 or better
Includes: MAVIC AIR Fly More Combo (Arctic White) AND the DJI Goggles in white
Kit #3 is similar to Kit #1, except it offers the Mavic Air instead of the Pro Platinum
----------
• Kit #4 - DJI Retail Price: $1,548 (US) ($999 + $549). Expected discount: $325 or better
Includes: MAVIC AIR Fly More Combo AND the DJI Goggles RACING EDITION in black
Similar to Kit #2, this option uses the MAVIC AIR rather than the Mavic Pro Platinum, with the DJI Goggles Racing Edition (RE), which also includes a separate FPV camera and 5.8 Ghz Occusync transceiver to equip your own drone/copter for long-range Occusync FPV.
The black DJI Goggles RACING EDITION is "natively" compatible with DJI drones using Occusync (Mavic, Air, etc.) to more precisely manage capture of photographs/video for extended distances with multiple HD & 4K optional resolutions.
