My headphones came with no documentation or booklets in the box. No owner's manual or warranty info; just headphones, cable, and ear cups. Is this normal?

Mine didn't come with any instructions either! I was confused at first, but eventually eye figured them out!

He’s mad because his gig-job is writing headphone quick-start guides that no one ever reads.

RayFI, too, used to be flippant about ‘phone guides. My gf gave me a pair I’d wanted and in my excitement I skipped the guide. We spent that night in the ER, but the doctors eventually removed the 3.5mm jack from my cornea. Sometimes I want documentation, e.g., instructions for flatpack furniture or title for a new car. Also, shrinkwrapping a box that arrives inside another box isn’t necessary. Neither are tamper-evident seals. Hell, I run global clinical research programs for a big, big pharma and consult regulatory agencies on packaging and labeling (which is a life/death subject). Never have I heard anyone propose additional packaging, not without subsequent eyerolls or laughter.

Additionally, the box was not sealed and there was no protective wrapping of any kind on the headphones. Was anyone else's packaged like this?
