I work at an industry with relatively loud machinery, I use disposable 3ms on the daily, but they make my ears really sore. Was wondering if these are bad to use 8+ hours a day, and if the 27 db ones would be enough for say the noise of an angle grinder.

I used these in a woodworking shop on and off 8 hours a day. I didn't get any discomfort from them and it brought the noise to a manageable level. These drop the sound level a decent amount, but if you are working with an angle grinder on metal then I would suggest over-the-ear protection.

ZaargonGood to know! I would be using over ear but it does get in the way now and then... Maybe that's worth it though..

asbstegeIt’s important to note frequent cleaning of reusable ear plugs if they’re used very consistently
