Yamaha Aventage series home theater receivers.
All over the map when it comes to speakers. So much of that is room dependent. I prefer high sensitivity (90db at least), neutral sound (again, room dependent), and the ability to recreate a realistic sound stage. My current setup uses a Mirage omipolar system with two towers, two rear surrounds, matching center, and two subs. Plays all manner of music nicely and creates a fun movie experience. Older Yamaha RX 600 series receiver. Will hopefully update/upgrafe to a RX-A3060 or 3070 later this year.

Big fan of the Mirage omnipolar speakers here -- which models do you have? I've got two sets of the Omni 150 bookshelf, on the lookout for OMD bookshelf and towers. Love the encompassing sound, especially helpful for acoustically challenged spaces. As far as I know, no companies are manufacturing this type of speaker anymore, which is a shame.

Want: 27 Inch 1440p 144hz+ Monitor w/ USB-C PD + KVM
With many of us working from home and gaming in the same space, I've grown to love my setup that allows me to switch between my work machine and gaming PC on the same display, keyboard, and mouse with the Viewsonic VP2771. The only problem is -- that display is only 60hz. So, I'm in the market for a new work + gaming monitor with this criteria below and found them pretty difficult to find: Features Wanted 27 Inches 1440p resolution for QHD gaming 144hz+ refresh rate w/ FreeSync or G-SYNC USB-C PD input for use with notebooks (specifically MacBooks) DP + HDMI ports for other sources 2+ USB ports for peripherals + USB-B output to PC Built-in KVM switch between USB-C and USB-B VESA mountable There's exactly 1 solid and affordable option: the Gigabyte M27Q, but I'm not impressed with the overall quality in reviews. The Eve Spectrum is on its way this spring it looks like, going above and beyond these features with a 240hz option and many of the same features, coming out of a...

Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive?
I would LOVE to have a Spyderco dragonfly 2 Drop exclusive on one of the most iconic model in Spyderco. Maybe like the super gold steel that drop did with delica. The color on the scale can be the drop color. That will be awesome! Picture is me dragonfly collections in various color and steels [image]

Gerlach Watches
Hey everyone I hope your week is going well. I was wondering if anyone in the community has experience with Gerlach watches? I would love to see a few of their line show here on Drop some day. I know they wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but they are unique in that I don't believe I have seen any Polish made watches here before. Well, I don't know that I have seen Polish watches anywhere LOL! thoughts? http://gerlach.org.pl/ [image]

There Are Pandas, and Then There Are Pandas.
[image] And this isn't either of them! [image] The Pandas we're talking about here, are watches, not bears. And what got me thinking about them (again) was a link posted this morning by @cm.rook who pointed a few of us to the very attractive (and not terribly priced) Yema "Rallygraph" Panda which, in it's most traditional arrangement, looks like the one on the left, but can also be had in the version on the right: [image] The model on the left is a true Panda, while the model on the right is called a reverse Panda. The reason for that distinction is clear--Panda bears, only come in the first arrangement. Now, at this point, everyone should be thinking about the most well-know Panda, The Rolex Panda, which is actually a Daytona, and among Rolex Daytonas, the most famous of which is the Paul Newman Daytona, which was famous first, because it was Paul's, and second because it sold at auction for $17.8 million (US Dollars). The story of that auction is well-known so I'll only...
