NESPi Quick Start Guide (Retro Arcade Console)
This is a quick guide to build a premium retro arcade using a Raspberry Pi and the RetroPie emulation station. This is a fun and inexpensive project for retro gamers! My own inspiration for the NESPi is from DraftMikes original NESPi. You can read his original blog post here:

What you need: Here’s an Amazon List ( ) with all of the parts you need except for the arcade games (make sure to filter by purchased and unpurchased at the top). Buy these parts and put it together (30 minutes to build) and you’ll have a working retro arcade with thousands of games to play on your HDTV!
I made my life easier and bought a micro sd card from e-bay with the games already loaded, it saves you a lot of time if you do it this way. Otherwise you have to download and copy them to your raspberry pi and it’s very time consuming for this amount of games.

$Costs The total cost will range from ~$90 - $125 and everything can be bought on You can see the full cost breakdown on my DIY site
