Quentin Tarantino is arguably my favorite when it comes to movie soundtracks. My favorites are Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight, Pulp Fiction, and Kill Bill (in no particular order).
Baby Driver also had a surprisingly great OST that was worth a purchase.

jaydunndidditAlso enjoy QT's soundtracks; especially like the "Dusk Till Dawn" franchise (introduced me to Tito and Tarantula). Another good one was Robert Rodriquez' "Once Upon a Time in Mexico" (wear that one out every time)!

RayFThose are also very good (movies as well as soundtracks). Now that you gave me another moment to think on it, I have no idea how the hell I forgot Jackie Brown. That was actually the first OST I purchased that led me down this path since I own every CD and most of the compilations (Ennio Morricone, etc.).
And because it was an odd movie with a wonderfully bizarre soundtrack, Four Rooms deserves an honorable mention.
I have the Tarantino XX 10-Disc set (which comes in this marvelous fold out box) and cannot even count how many times I have gone through his films. Crazy thing is it's hard for me to have one favorite out of the bunch, The only films I don't have in my collection are Killing Zoe and Natural Born Killers.

jaydunndidditWhooff--didn't even know there was a 10 disk set! I may have to look for it (or download it anyway). Yeah--I forgot about Jackie Brown too. A couple of his films were a bit too much for me, visually (burying someone alive--gave me nightmare for a month!) soI bet I've missed a few good ones here and there. I'll have go back through the discography (eyes closed this time) to hear what I may have over looked. Thanks for the tip.

RayFFair warning, since the set is out of production now prices have shot up for it. To the tune of $225 for a new set. Used prices are however more reasonable at around $70 on BluRay. I got my set on deep discount at Best Buy of all places around the holidays for $40. Same with complete Futurama and James Bond collections.
It's funny as the pricess on them are crazy nowadays for a BNIB set. I have a few other collectibles that I've opened over the years that I almost wish I would have kept sealed due to their increase in value now. Funny what they say about hindsight I suppose, ha.

jaydunndidditYikes--those are some serious prices. May have to keep my eye open for alternate offers, maybe check out my local used record stores--or take maters into my own hands and sail of the Pirate Bay--harrr!
