akg 7xx, great sound stage and audio positional is great too. However certain pitch is sharp, probably the treble is high. senn HD6xx has narrower sound stage compare to akg7xx. Still there are people mentioning the HD6xx has better imaging than the 7xx. As for the sound, it is more neutral.
P/S both need AMP/Dac. AKG 7xx is easier to drive comparing to HD6xx

Trololol2k17I'd say the AKG M220 work pretty good. They lack in bass, but make up in clarity and soundstage. they are also semi-closed so the clacking of keys and maybe some other noises wont be so distracting. They are also really cheap, comfortabe and can be easily driven without any AMPs. The left over money can be invested in a Modmic and snacks. Thats just my 2 cents. Been using the M220 for quite a while now. (a growing audiophile on a budget.)

I use Sennheiser HD-6xx for listening to music. My favorite for gaming and audio/video conferencing is Massdrop x Sennheiser PC37X (similar to Sennheiser GAME ONE).

SkwadxWill, but you either need to use an adapter to convert two 3 pole 3.5 mm to one 4 pole 3.5 mm or not have the functionality of mic.
