I'm already a user of the Iso layout and it's hard enough to find nice ISO's, but it's even harder to find my ISO in really nice models and not just old solid black classics with no effort in the design. Is it possible to see a AZERTY ISO layout one day?
I love ISO layout. The extra key next to left Shift is much appreciated. Also, the two-row Enter Key allows a more relaxed positioning of my pinkie finger when pressing it. Also, for spanish / latin american layouts, ISO layout allows the Ñ key (to the left side of L key) that we use in Spanish. And the two pair of symbol character keys to the left of a two-row Enter key are more aligned horizontally. If Drop offered ISO layout keyboards, I would probably buy one, and it would be an opportunity for Drop to cover the spanish speaking market. I have visited Drop looking for keyboards many times, and the lack of ISO keyboards has always been a show stopper for me.
I actually don't mind the right side of ISO keyboards. However, as I am used to my extra key on the left side of the keyboard I. On the German layout the key next to the shortened shift contains "<", ">" and "|" which are three symbols that I use quiet often as I am a software developer. I have tried using ANSI Layouts for a couple of months but I could not get used to it. Especially since I need custom caps for the additional letters "ä", "ö" and "ü" which would also mess with the layout
Of course not. ISO makes no sense. You don't need an enter key covering two rows. And this is coming from someone who used ISO boards until my teens.

ISO makes sense just fine if you need additional accent letters on your keyboard. And on ANSI you lose a key to a longer left shift for no good reason.
