... but could you also clarify if the brown wallet is black on the inside, and that the natural CXL is similar to the color of the essex natural? Thanks!
Depends which one you're looking at. Some have a black interior, some don't. I'd move questions to the drop page, they're easier for people to answer there!
Hi - So I'm confused - the poll clearly favored the Tanner wallet by a very wide margin. Why was the Ashland bifold chosen for the drop instead? Just curious.
Also, there seems to be a discrepancy between the color choices and the corresponding pictures that pop up to illustrate them. First, does the brown wallet have a black interior? And second, that same wallet pops up for the CXL natural wallet choice as well.
I've had many chats with Jevan and co. at Tanner Goods, and they're currently not interested in working with Massdrop. They're very committed to selling their products at the price on their site which, frankly, I think is pretty high. Great stuff, but lofty prices as well. I actually like Ashland products even better, and since the co-founder works at Horween he has access to some really amazing leathers.
I've had the Saddleback Medium Bifold in chestnut for a little over a year. All I can say it that it is one hell of a nice wallet and is holding up well.
