d-._.-b3d content creation is different than full compiled games :3 games at compiled and not raw files. they are rendered and etc etc and optimized
but when you are making 3d content and etc those things are on hand made they are not compiled or optimized at that point that is why when content creating you dont get as much fps as you get in games. the sheer amount of power required for rendering and while 3d content creation is insane thats why companies use quadro cuz it gives them that edge over the consumer grade cards, more cuda cores so they can stuff as much as objects in the world at insane resolutions without optimizing at full details check the shadows reflections everything at maxed out so later when they optimize they can be sure that nothing is out of proportion or something.
also it requires faster cards + cuda cores which is in ration in consumer card i.e. faster = less cuda cores / more cuda = slower / faster + cuda = above 800$++ and yet they still cannot compare to content creation cards like quadros and amd's card
StrongdoctorIf you can throw money away and aren't delusional about more cores making a difference in gaming why not? You never know he might be editing/streaming high res video or extensively using photoshop.
Not a good investment though.
