I want one with the 'random' tanto/sheepsfoot blade!! I don't care what the handle material is...I can swap the blade to something else if I don't like the handle haha.
All Massdrop needs to do is have a Leek made with M390/20CV/204P for under $100 and they would have one of the hottest knives they’ve ever sold on their hands.
The G10 scales should have a nice radius or bevel on all the edges. I purchased a similar version last year to replace a lost limited edition I had with high end steel and G10 scales. The new one has very square edges. Not sharp, but not comfortable either. Easy enough to fix, but one shouldn't have to. The old limited edition, which I found hiding under my car seat shortly after I got the replacement has a much better radius. I'd vote for better steel too. CM154 or similar would be nice.
The jade G10 handle Leek is a cool option and I am all in, but how about Glow-In-The-Dark scales?!? Pair it with a stonewash finished blade in a decent steel, and it would be a winner. Even better, how about a reverse tanto blade like the special edition Leek Random Task?
A Kershaw Leek exclusice is a great idea and I am totally onboard if... it comes with upgraded steel, like D2 or 154 as seen on the newest version with carbin fiber. The basic leek steel is alright, but in the year of our lord 2017 and with the plethora of steels available, if I buy another Leek, I would want it to be elevated some beyond just the cosmetic 😉
