27" x 3 in portrait is the ideal set up ...swift has better 2560 x 1440 resolution not 1080p like most of the others listed...until they come out with a 4k 144hz [which would be limited by the gbps of display port 1.2 specification to around 120 hz at a play able fps] the SwiFT ROG is the best choice. the next mid wave will have dp 1.2a inputs that will allow the freesync instead of paying the extra `$200 premium for gsync. of course if adapters are like current allowing dp 1.0 to be upgrade to dp 1.2 for about $50 you can work around the 1.2a spec if you already have a 1.2 display. for example, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HIVCUQ6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=PKDTU0ZEIJDZ&coliid=I3LG7OT4TI73SA
You need 14Gb/s for 4k @ 60hz, double that for 120hz, so you would need 28Gb/s. As far as what's available on the consumer end at the moment HDMI 2.0 is 18Gb/s, Thunderbolt 2 is 20Gb/s and DisplayPort 1.2 is 21.6 Gb/s. Until DisplayPort 1.3 comes out with it's 32.4Gb/s throughput, it is literally impossible to run 4k @ 120hz .
