This is a dream monitor I can't wait for this to drop!
Please drop the Acer Predator? Its just as fast as the ROG but with an IPS panel.

this is ROG's newest model, the pg278Q is TN, this one is pg279Q, it's a IPS panel, 144 hz (out of the box) and can be overclocked to 165 hz, it has g-sync and both displayport and hdmi (hdmi only goes max 60 hz, gsync issues)

Current reviews are saying about $800 USD, so probably $799.99 before site discounts. Looking forwards to getting an PG279Q!
The PG279Q is Asus ROGs upcoming 1440p 165Hz IPS GSync Monitor. Prices in the US and Europe are not yet published, so I used the MSRPs for both Monitors converted from a site located in the UK where the Monitor is available for Pre-order.
